Course Details
- This course is 12 hours classroom learning time
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the course starts to register your details
- Running late – you will not be accepted on the course and no refund will be issued
- Maximum of 12 delegates per course
- 30 minute break
- FPT use a combination of Powerpoint presentations, visual aids, practical activities, group work, FAQ’s and assessments to accommodate for all learners.
- Will involve practical elements, wear comfortable clothing, avoid skirts or dresses
- 30 minutes multiple choice online assessment.

- The TQUK Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) is typically provided as a two-day training and assessment session for learners to become paediatric first aiders.
- The suggested course time for the qualification is two days.
- If necessary, the course time may be proloanged but not decreased to fulfil extra learning demands.
- The qualification expands learners’ knowledge, understanding, and skills in the following areas:
- the roles and responsibilities of a Paediatric First Aider;
- assessing an incident, recognising signs and symptoms of injury and illness, assisting a casualty suffering from major injury and illness, chest injuries, spinal injuries, and anaphylaxis.
- If this certification is used to fulfil HSE criteria, it is valid for three years after which learners must repeat the course; nevertheless, it is advised that learners update their knowledge on an annual basis.
- Your certificate is valid for three years and meets the full EYFS/DfE and Ofsted criteria for Early Years.
