- This course is 12 hours classroom learning time
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the course starts to register your details
- Running late – you will not be accepted on the course and no refund will be issued

- FPT use a combination of Powerpoint presentations, visual aids, practical activities, group work, FAQ’s and assessments to accommodate for all learners.

Course Content
- This regulated qualification is designed to introduce the principles of risk assessment.
- It covers why risk assessments are necessary, the legal requirements relating to them and simple processes for carrying them out.
- While workers may not conduct risk assessments directly, this qualification will increase their risk awareness and comprehension of risk assessments.
- The qualification’s goal is to improve learners’ knowledge and practical abilities so that they can recognise and respond to situations.
- Topics covered include: main causes of work-related fatalities, basic processes for undertaking a risk assessment, key terms associated with risk assessments, methods that can be used to prioritise risks and more.

- The certificate is valid for 3 years and nationally recognised
