Course Details
- This course is 8 hours classroom learning time
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the course starts to register your details
- Running late – you will not be accepted on the course and no refund will be issued
- Maximum of 12 delegates per course
- 30 minute break
- FPT use a combination of Powerpoint presentations, visual aids, practical activities, group work, FAQ’s and assessments to accommodate for all learners.
- Will involve practical elements, wear comfortable clothing, avoid skirts or dresses

Course Content
- This Sports First Aid Level 3 training is designed for anybody who teaches or aids with fitness/exercise and dancing education.
- To know when to place an unresponsive and breathing casualty into the recovery position.
- To be able demonstrate a primary survey.
- CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation) should be performed on an infant, child, and adult.
- Make use of the Automated External Defibrillator; understand why it is utilised and how it works.
- To cope with a choking infant, child, or adult. This course covers seizures such as epilepsy and generalised seizures.
- There is bleeding and shock.
- Burns are covered as part of the course, including superficial, partial, and full thickness burns. An anaphylaxis – what would you do if someone is suffering from an allergic reaction?
- Cuts, grazes, bruises, splinters, and nosebleeds are examples of minor injuries.
- The training is tailored to the kind of injuries and diseases you are likely to encounter.
- The course is also appropriate for any student interested in this field.
- Topics covered such as including soft tissue injuries, head injuries, types of cuts, and many illnesses that could arise.

- The certificate is valid for 3 years and nationally recognised
