- This course is 4 hours classroom learning time
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the course starts to register your details
- Running late – you will not be accepted on the course and no refund will be issued

- FPT use a combination of Powerpoint presentations, visual aids, practical activities, group work, FAQ’s and assessments to accommodate for all learners.

Course Content
- Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (SOVA) Level 2 (VTQ) is considered for the Protection of Adults is Level 2, this course is designed to teach workers and managers who interact with adults how to detect and report potential situations of abuse and neglect.
- Vulnerable adults are at risk in a variety of settings, and training will ensure that they understand the issue, avoid potentially dangerous circumstances, and deal with abuse and neglect if it is discovered.
- Some of the topics including in this course are; acts and regulations, Data Barring Service, Safe Guarding of Vulnerable Adults- facts about abuse, statistics, identifying an vulnerable adult, identify abuse, serious case reviews, reporting abuse etc.
