Course Details
- This course is 6 hours classroom learning time
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the course starts to register your details

Course Content
- The Mental Health in the workplace level 2 is designed for anyone who wish to learn more about Mental Health difficulties in the workplace and in everyday life, as well as how to potentially enhance their own mindfulness.
- The course covers to know about the difference between mental health and mental ill health.
- Describe how mental health affects human behaviour.
- What an individual needs for mental well-being and how it relates to resilience.
- Be aware of risk factors that are caused by mental health.
- To be able to recognise how mental health problems can affect day-to-day living.
- To be able to identify causes of stress and knowing how stress can stem from influences resulting from work.
- To be able to understand different types of mental health including anxiety.
- To know about depression management signs and symptoms and causes.
- Mental health legislation including management standards, six stressor areas in the workplace, employers’ duty of care and obligations in the workplace, disclosures of mental health, starting discussions and giving advice, advice for Manager/Employer Offering Support, absence due to (Mental) Illness, promoting a Healthy Workplace.
- How stigma can be removed when relating to mental health.
