Who should attend
- This course can be undertaken either prior to staff assuming a role, on their first day, or by existing staff members.
- This course caters to individuals employed in the care sector, covering essential training in Basic Life Support, Safer Moving and Handling of people, Food Hygiene, Fire Safety, and Health & Safety Awareness.
- Extra topics can be incorporated to customise the course according to the particular needs of your staff.
Course Details
- This course is 7 hours plus 2 hours for the Bolt on Safeguarding classroom learning time
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the course starts to register your details
- Running late – you will not be accepted on the course and no refund will be issued
- Maximum of 12 delegates per course
- 15 minute breaks with 30 Minutes lunch break
- FPT use a combination of Powerpoint presentations, visual aids, practical activities, group work, FAQ’s and assessments to accommodate for all learners.
- Will involve practical elements, wear comfortable clothing, avoid skirts or dresses

- Mandatory Training serves as an annual refresher course required for healthcare professionals, including part-time, full-time, or agency workers.This mandatory course will cover:
- Basic Life Support
- Health & Safety
- Moving & Positioning of People
- Food Hygiene
- Fire Safety
- Safeguarding (Add on)
Certificate information
- The certificate is valid for 3 year ands nationally recognised
- All of our courses are in accordance with the most recent UK Resuscitation Council recommendations (2021)
- This is a trustworthy, accredited and certified course it will pass due diligence tests, compliance and International Organisational for Standardisation (ISO)
- This course comes with 7 hours of CPD (Continuous Professional Development)
- All of our courses’ content has been independently verified as adhering to generally recognised Continuous Professional Development (CPD) standards, and they all include a ProTrainings Certificate and a Certified CPD Statement
- You will get the certificate electronically via email and should get it within 24 hours
