Course Details
- This course is 5 hours classroom learning time
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the course starts to register your details
- Running late – you will not be accepted on the course and no refund will be issued
- Maximum of 12 delegates per course
- 15 minute break
- FPT use a combination of Powerpoint presentations, visual aids, practical activities, group work, FAQ’s and assessments to accommodate for all learners.
- Will involve practical elements, wear comfortable clothing, avoid skirts or dresses
- 30 minutes multiple choice online assessment.

Course Content
- The First Aid for Cyclists course is designed to provide you with the theoretical understanding required to equip you with the skills and information needed to assist someone involved in a bicycle accident.
- The training covers a variety of subjects, including how to place someone in the Recovery position, resuscitation, head injuries, sprains, fractures, and dislocations, AED Introduction, Heart Attack, control bleeding, how to manage embedded objects, Strains and Sprains (RICE), Dislocated Shoulders and Joint, chest injuries, minor injuries, burns, fractures and spinal injuries.

- The certificate is valid for 3 years and nationally recognised
- All of our courses are in accordance with the most recent UK Resuscitation Council recommendations (2021)
- This is a trustworthy, accredited and certified course it will pass due diligence tests, compliance and International Organisational for Standardisation (ISO)
- This course comes with 6 hours of CPD (Continuous Professional Development)
