Course Details
- This course is 2 hours classroom learning time
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the course starts to register your details
- Running late – you will not be accepted on the course and no refund will be issued
- Maximum of 12 delegates per course
- 15 minute break
- FPT use a combination of Powerpoint presentations, visual aids, practical activities, group work, FAQ’s and assessments to accommodate for all learners.

Course Content
- Fire Extinguisher (VTQ) training course will educate you about the several types of fire extinguishers that may be present in your workplace, as well as how to use them successfully and safely.
- You’ll learn about the fire prevention hierarchy, how fires originate, and the many sorts of flames that require different types of fire extinguishers to battle.
- You’ll also learn the importance of assessing the situation to determine whether it’s safe for you to try to fight a fire, as well as the techniques for effectively and safely using each type of fire extinguisher and other fire fighting equipment, as demonstrated through a variety of illustrations and videos.

- The certificate is valid for 3 years and nationally recognised
- All of our courses are in accordance with the most recent UK Resuscitation Council recommendations (2021)
