- This course is 5 hours classroom learning time
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the course starts to register your details
- Running late – you will not be accepted on the course and no refund will be issued

Course Content
- The family first aid training will cover when to place an unresponsive and breathing casualty into the recovery position.
- To be able demonstrate a primary survey. CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation) should be performed on an infant, child, and adult.
- Make use of the Automated External Defibrillator; understand why it is utilised and how it works.
- To cope with a choking infant, child, or adult.
- This course covers how to deal with choking, minor injuries such as splinters, small cuts, grazes, bruises, stings, burns and nose bleeds.
- Other injuries and medical emergencies covered are broken bones including spinal injury, fractures, dislocations, head injuries, allergic reactions, asthma, sprains and strains, foreign objects, poisons, fainting, meningitis, and febrile convulsions.
